PANAMA City — It was like a bomb had gone off, according to Rebecca Steverson. That is the only way she said she could truly describe it. 

It experienced been a typical Thursday afternoon for David Scott Good Jewellery on Dec. 16, planning for the past weekend right before Xmas. Steverson said their Panama City store was full of purchasers in the course of the day and the staff was winding down a little bit as they started to giftwrap products. 

Then they heard what sounded like an explosion.  

“I was wrapping a present in the back and it sounded like an explosion. And so, I didn’t know which way to run because I was in the middle of the setting up,” said Steverson, director of functions at David Scott Fine Jewelry. “I didn’t know if the explosion was in the again or the front. And then, of course, I ran out and saw the devastation.”

Steverson and the employees walked out to find that the destruction had occur from a car or truck that experienced crashed into their showroom, taking out an complete wall and 11 instances of jewellery.
